Quick-capture raw text, a URL, or conversational content into a classified vault note — no interactive prompts. Triggers: "save this as a note", "clip this", "add this to the vault", "categorize this", "turn this into a note", "I found this useful, save it".

Interactively create a vault note with guided type selection, tags, and template. Triggers: "create a note about", "new note", "add a note on", "start writing about", "I want to document", "write up", "jot down". For quick capture without prompts, use auto-categorize instead.

Process and classify files in the Obsidian vault Inbox, moving them to Notes/ with proper frontmatter. Triggers: "process inbox", "check inbox", "classify these", "file my notes", "anything in my inbox?", "triage my captures".

Re-evaluate and update a note's type and tags based on its content. Triggers: "reclassify", "recategorize", "re-tag", "this note is in the wrong type", "update the tags on", "this should be a config not a reference". Only runs when explicitly requested.

Configure vault-tools for first-time use or change the vault path. Triggers: "setup vault-tools", "configure vault-tools", "set vault path", "install vault-tools", "get started with vault-tools", or when vault path is not configured.
