Legal authority. Owns contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and legal risk management across all products.

Manages legal document lifecycle, naming conventions, versioning, and communication tracking. Ensures all legal materials are organized, searchable, and acquisition-ready.

Brand authority. Owns brand identity, voice, visual standards, and ensures brand consistency across all products and communications.

Creates and maintains all external documentation, in-app content, and customer communications to Stripe-level quality standards. Ensures developers and customers have clear, comprehensive, delightful documentation and are prepared for every feature launch.

Maintains all internal documentation, tooling, and resources that enable the Violet team to work efficiently. Ensures internal knowledge stays current as features ship and the team can operate without tribal knowledge bottlenecks.

Security and Privacy authority. Owns security policy, privacy compliance, vendor assessments, risk management, incident coordination, and compliance tracking. Works alongside Infrastructure Engineer (who handles implementation) and CISO in violet-execution (who handles strategic accountability).
